Sprints followed by recovery

Sprint and Recover

Life is a series of sprints followed by recovery.

The other day I was chatting with a friend who really shed some light on this topic.

When we dug into this further, it came down to understanding the relationship between stress and recovery mode. This symbiotic relationship is really important so you can build capacity and capability, as you learn to grow, take on more responsibility and challenge as leaders in the workplace.

95% of human resources professionals blamed the loss of good employees on job burnout.

If you don’t recover and rebuild your energy reserves, you won’t be able to operate at your peak performance when you need to be. Therefore, you will not be as successful as you could be.

One of the top ways to recover after a sprint is by resting the mind while fostering healthy habits. Besides sleep, taking healthy breaks allows your mind to recover from the mental demands of the everyday.

Are you setting your people up for success by providing them recovery options?

Let us share a creative mindfulness practice that will provide your team with the tools necessary to build on their personal success and help you with your retention strategy. I invite you to experience this for yourself. Learn more HERE.
